Job Details:
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Well-established and highly successful architecture & design firm is looking to fill an Interior Designer position in their Charlotte, NC office. Candidate MUST have 5+ years prior experience managing projects independently in the interior design field. The ideal candidate will have a distinct design sensibility and be extremely organized, highly self-motivated, experienced in managing multiple projects and an excellent communicator.
The Ideal Candidate:
Will have experience managing a project from design development through installation
Will have experience designing, drawing and producing custom furniture, millwork and lighting
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing for and attending client and site meetings
Creating and maintaining budgets and project schedules
Sourcing materials and furniture that are cohesive to the design aesthetic of the project
Creating furniture plans and drawings for custom furniture and lighting.
Coordinating and managing outside vendors for installations
Generating of purchase orders and invoices
Placing and following up on orders
Generating of purchase orders and invoices
Requirements:
AutoCAD
Adobe Create Suite
MS Office
Design Manager (or similar program)
Eligibility to work in the US
SALARY: $75-105K
