Job Details:
My client is actively seeking a Fire Sprinkler designer with good knowledge of Fire Protection Systems.
The Fire Protection Designer, CAD Designer/Revit Designer will be responsible for designing and specifying fire protection systems, sprinklers, fire suppression and fire alarm-mass notification systems, etc. for a wide range of projects for government, commercial, and industrial environments. This person will be trained for life safety and code reviews of new and existing facilities including egress analysis, fire rated construction requirements and overall fire and life safety building code analysis. The ability to read blue prints and architectural drawings. Knowledge of International Codes and NFPA Requirements, studies, written reports, code compliance, design of fire protection systems using AutoCAD 3D software and Revit, etc. for government, commercial and industrial buildings. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required. Certifications (NICET) are a plus. A Degree, Associates Degree and/or related industry experience is required.
