Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Position Overview: As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in the company's financial operations by overseeing the financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting functions. You will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data, insightful reporting, and effective budget management. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather budget input, create budget proposals, and monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year.
- Monitor and assess variances between actual financial results and budgeted figures, investigating discrepancies and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Participate in the development of financial strategies and initiatives to optimize the firm's financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge-sharing.
