Trademark Specialist

$100-120k + bonus
Role:
A Trademark Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the process of transferring trademarks between various parties.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research: Researching and analyzing trademark transfer requests to ensure their validity and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinating transfer process: Working closely with internal departments, external attorneys, and stakeholders to facilitate the smooth transfer of trademarks. This includes preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and transfer agreements.
- Document and database management: Maintaining accurate and organized records of trademark transfer documentation, including licenses, registrations, and assignments. Keeping the trademark database up to date and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Communication: Serving as a point of contact between parties involved in the trademark transfer process. Answering inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring effective communication throughout the transfer process.
- Compliance monitoring: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with trademark laws, regulations, and guidelines. Conducting regular audits to identify any potential issues and addressing them promptly.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as legal, finance, and compliance, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of trademark transfers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field.
- Knowledge of trademark laws, regulations, and processes.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in trademark management or intellectual property is preferred.
