Construction Project Manager

Our client in the local area is actively seeking to add a qualified construction project manager to the team. Commercial construction experience is required. Experience with off-site construction, prefabrication, or modular construction a plus.
Experience sought:
- Understand, manage, and meet clients’ expectations
- Ability to lead and manage project teams to communicate effectively with the entire design team/project team throughout the construction process
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Perform accurate and complete take-offs and estimating
- Manage the project budget, procurement, submittal & review process understanding and controlling project schedule impacts
- Effectively develop, maintain, and issue project logs
- Work with the client to manage cost events and maintain budget
- Manage and document all cost events
- Minimize and effectively resolve disputes
- Deliver projects on time & budget
- Prepare timely invoicing
- Perform timely and complete project closeout
- Strong understanding of mechanical system construction
- Ability to work/interact with field personnel, contractors, and customers
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Requirements:
- Qualified individuals for this position will have five (5) or more years of experience with relevant commercial project experience.
- Experience with off-site construction, prefabricated buildings, or modular construction a plus
- Bachelor’s degree a plus, not required (Engineering, Construction Management, building construction, Construction Science, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, etc.
