Desired background is: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 to 10 years background developing and running large scale capital improvement and / or construction projects, proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit, knowledge of codes, standards, mechanical load calculations, plumbing distribution and systems design, fire protection calculations, and related contract documents and specification writing. Prior experience working with or interfacing with construction companies is a big plus. Clear communication skills with the ability to work with multi-discipline team of engineering, vendors, equipment manufacturers, and partner engineering firms is must. Multi-task capabilities, working on simultaneous project assignments, in different phases / stages rounds out the qualities that will make you successful.
