Compensation:
$150-200k
Role:
In this position you will oversee a team of Staff Accountants in all daily general accounting related duties. You will also ensure that the company is operating efficiently, effectively and within budget. You will be tasked with providing strategic direction on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a financial forecast process and reporting system to support operational decision-making.
- Develop, implement, and monitor controls and procedures to manage operational expenses.
- Monitor and control the cost of goods and services, including inventory, labor, and other production-related expenses.
- Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze and report on operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the budgeting process for the organization and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or controlling management positions.
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting concepts.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
