Metallurgy Lab Technician Entry Level
My client is seeking an eager to learn individual for an entry level Metallurgy Lab Technician. This is a full time permanent opportunity located in the Chalfont, PA area.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, and maintain standard laboratory equipment such as: sample drying ovens; lab jaw crushers, pulverize (ring and pucks), sample splitters, filter presses, assaying furnaces, analytical balances and XRF.
- Laboratory and Fire assay testing experience with precious metals
- Proper handling of safe chemicals used in the manufacturing process
- Handling precious metal wire (cleaning, winding, sealing)
- Analysis of incoming precious metal bearing material
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
