Senior Financial Decision Support Analyst

Role:
A global, stable, and leader within the Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry is looking to add another member to their overall Corporate finance team specifically within the Corporate Development division. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will sit under corporate finance but have a focus on performing financial analysis for corporate decision support. This would include budgeting, forecasting, as well as financial planning. The ultimate goal of the analysis and this role is to influence the business segments as well as the overall business in making future decisions that impact the organization's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support Finance and Treasury by providing financial support as well as reporting to help influence large capital project business decisions
- Provide finance and operational analysis, modeling, business decision support, profitability analysis, cash flow analysis financial planning and analysis, managerial analysis, variance analysis, price analysis and performance analysis
- Decision support by presenting results of in-depth complex analysis
- Work with Financial and Accounting teams to help them understand short term and long term financial strategies, operating plans, cost savings or improvements, and business practices
- Develop and create models to help support capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, decision support, efficiencies, etc.
- Participate in strategy sessions as well as support key regional and global financial initiatives
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering is required.
- 5+ years of prior financial analysis experience including experience with a Fortune 1000 or within an organization.
- Must have experience with discounted cash flow (DCF) and capital project analysis
- The ability to work with complex problems, think on your feet, and influence people with analysis and data
- Ability to work as a sole contributor as well as part of a team
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary 95-125K, annual bonus 10%, as well as medical, dental, vision, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Relocation:
Relocation packages will be considered for non-local candidates
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office a week and 2 days working from home.
