ESTIMATOR (ENVIRONMENTAL/REMEDIAL CONSTRUCTION)
The Estimator is responsible for scoping, estimating, sourcing, project controls, cost tracking and scheduling activities as they relate to the firm’s competitive bidding of RFQs/RFPs. The Estimator will develop all aspects of a proposal or response to quotation with special emphasis on ensuring that all components of an RFP/RFQ are satisfied and that nothing is omitted or overlooked. In addition, the Estimator is the curator of all project references, quotations, and bid documents and must ensure all scoping, scheduling, and cost assumptions are documented upon award. The Estimator will be responsible for setting up the project and performing project controls from start to finish. This includes but not limited to; coordinating with the applicable operational group, cost tracking and project documentation.
The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science or Civil Engineering, at least five (5) years of estimating experience, with an emphasis on environmental estimating preferred (e.g., site remediation, landfill, excavation support, dewatering, water control and water treatment for discharge, In-Situ stabilization projects, etc.), and extensive knowledge of how to estimate large and small environmental field services, industrial services, emergency, remediation, and demolition projects. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
