IT Security Manager - Operations and Engineering
This role is to be part of the IT Security leadership team and will be responsible for the operations of SOC functions as well as the engineering and architecture of the company's security controls. The ideal candidate will be an expert in security operations, incident response and engineering and interface with all aspects of IT including Security GRC team. Responsible for a team of 3.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Cybersecurity or related field required
- Must have 5 years experience in Lead or Manager on an IT Security team.
- 5+ years experience in SIEM with Splunk preferred
- Understanding and experience with Red Team and Blue Team security roles
- Strong background in EDR and Antimalware platforms like Carbon Black, Protect and Defense
- Must have at least one certification CISSP, ISSAP, ISSEP, GCIH, GPEN, GCTI, CISM, OSCP, GDAT, GRID
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, Databases, Web applications and Cloud
- Palo Alto Networks and other NGFW experience
- Scripting experience - PowerShell, Python, Bash
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be onsite 5 days a week initially and then will move to 3 days a week and more flexibility once up and running
