Manager of Tax Compliance and Planning
140-150K total compensation
Role:
A rapidly growing and well respected advisory firm is looking to add a Manager of Tax Compliance and Planning to their team. As a Manager of Tax Compliance and Planning, you'll lead and grow a team of Tax planning and compliance professionals that work to advising small to middle market organizations. Ultimately, this person will be managing the engagements, the client relationships, building the portfolio by performing some business development, advising clients on major tax compliance and tax planning strategies to help them run their businesses effectively. Essentially, you'll act as the Tax leader and collaborate with business owners and business leadership's in order to help the build a better business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax services to a number of middle market clientele across a diverse set of industries
- Manage, review, and lead tax engagements
- Develop and implement tax analysis, tax strategies, tax research, negotiations, and any other related tax services
- Build future relationships and foster current relationships with current clientele
- Work with client leadership/executives to establish a long-term strategic plans for the organization
- Hire, lead, manage, mentor and grow the tax advisory team
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master is tax is a plus not required
- Certifications are a plus, CPA is required
- 5+ years tax advisory, tax accounting, and/or tax planning. Preferably a public tax accountant out of a mid-size to large national firm and/or someone with a strong partnership and high net worth tax background.
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a Base Salary, 20-40% bonus, medical, dental, vision, great 401K, profit sharing, tuition, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc.
Working Conditions:
This position is a hybrid position that can be based out of Philadelphia, New York City, and/or Wilmington, DE. There will be 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days working from home.
