Job Details:
Attorney - Construction Practice - In office - $120-150k
Growing S. Jersey law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Attorney to join their team!
Ideal candidate will have similar experience as to the following:
- 10+ years of experience handling construction contract claims, public and private, as opposed to construction defect work experience.
- Should have experience with arbitration and at least exposure to preparing a case for trial/arbitration including actually participating in an arbitration or trial.

Knowledge and experience of mechanic's lien, law, stop notices, bid protests, public contract law, prompt payment law and payment and performance bonds.

Should have knowledge and experience working on construction claims for contract extras, delay damages, impact damages, assessment of liquidated damages and substantive law surrounding these issues. Should have knowledge of alternate project delivery methods.

Must have excellent writing skills; motions, depositions, and letters regarding construction litigation issues. Should have ability to interface with the client and convey a level of professionalism and competence in terms of both the legal issues and the strategic practical issues in construction litigation.
