Senior Tax Accountant
Role:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll be assisting Tax leadership with tax provisions. This would include preparing and booking income for tax provisions, compliance, working with system date on reporting, help improving systems, being the liaison between accounting, finance, and Tax for the region. This is a highly visible opening with interaction of all levels of professionals both locally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Director to prepare journal entries for tax provisions
- Be a liaison between accounting, finance, and tax to help communication and drive tax analysis
- Ensure compliance and adjustments are made in regards to local, state, federal, and respective countries
- Create and provide documentation to support the global tax provision consolidation process; prepare reviews as well
- Assist with the documentation surrounding income tax contingencies
- Special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA or MST is a plus
- CPA or other certifications are preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
- Strong business acumen: Ability to work as a sole contributor as well as part of a team
- Prior experience working within the BIG4 with multi-national or international clientele OR working at a Fortune 1000 multi-national organization
- Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, or OneSource is a plus
