Controls Engineer – Electrical Design and Automation
My client is looking to add a Controls Engineer to its talented staff. The qualified candidate will have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, at least a years’ experience with automation and/or integration, and knowledge of PLCs and software based HMIs is required. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with electrical enclosure and schematic design. Requirements / Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or another related technical field
- 2+ years’ experience in automation and/or integration
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs in a manufacturing setting
- Hydraulics and pneumatics; Vision systems; VFD's
- Experience with electrical enclosure and schematic design is a plus.
- Comfortable with 25-35% average travel
