Job Details:
Well known real estate company in Chicago s seeking a Treasury Accountant.
A hybrid work schedule is available.
This role will be responsible for accounting functions specifically related to corporate treasury and real estate transactions. This would include reconciliations, settlements, daily balancing, cash and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Work with Controller and Finance Manager on transactional accounting
Perform cash reconciliation, cash forecasting and reporting
Work with outside banks, vendors, and key personnel
Perform daily balances and reconcile settlement accounts
works cross functionally with general accounting to help with close, general ledger, and reporting
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2-3+ years of public accounting and/or corporate treasury experience is required.
Real estate industry experience preferred.
