Principal Financial Analyst
Role:
A large and stable manufacturing organization is looking to add a Senior / Principal financial analyst to their corporate strategy finance team. As a Principal Financial Analyst, you will be supporting a Finance Manager & Business Unit Controller with operational and cash flow analysis. This would include modeling, looking at controls, revenue recognition, business decision support, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Financial and Accounting teams to help them understand short term and long terms strategies, operating plans, and business practices
- Develop and create models within SAP to help support capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, decision support, efficiencies, etc.
- Participate in Business strategy secession, operating plans, and support key regional and global financial and operational initiatives
- Work with SOX controls
- Work with other business leaders to help with decision making, profitability and growth analysis
Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s Degree is required
- 5+ years of prior financial analysis experience within a $1B dollar organization.
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work as a sole contributor as well as part of a team
- Must have experience with discounted cash flow (DCF) and capital project analysis
- The ability to work with complex problems, think on your feet, and influence people with analysis and data
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary 90-120K, annual bonus 10%, as well as medical, dental, vision, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Relocation:
Relocation packages will be considered for non-local candidates
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid working situation with three days in the office and 2 days work from home.
