Job Title Business Intelligence Developer
Job Description The Business Intelligence Developer is a technical role within the Enterprise Reporting team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions. In this role, hands-on experiences will be leveraged to design platforms that integrate systems to maximize utility and minimize cost. Responsibilities will include project management, requirements analysis, solution development, and documentation and communication.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or closely related discipline such as Managing Information Technology, plus 3 years of progressive information technology experience. In lieu of bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience, will accept Master’s degree (as described above) plus 1 years of information technology experience, gained at any time. Experience required must have involved at least 1 year: developing and maintaining complex, optimized database objects in both operational data stores (ODS) and enterprise data warehouses (EDW) using SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle 11+ and the latest release of at least one other RDMS; using Informatica, IBM Datastage, Oracle Data Integrator, or other industry standard ETL tool; with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Cognos, or other industry standard BI platform, including data modeling and front end design experience; leveraging a thorough understanding of ERP source system data, schemas, and business processes to create comprehensive ODS and EDW models (E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft experience preferred); managing deployment and testing process for all BI platform upgrades, patches, configuration changes; providing technical subject matter expertise, training, and guidance to other team members; assessing implemented and available BI and data warehousing technologies to ensure infrastructure is optimized to meet business needs; and, facilitating or co-facilitating client workshops, training, integration testing, and user acceptance testing in small to medium group settings.
