Job Details:
My client is a building automation and energy management company. They are seeking a Building Automation Estimator to get involved with tech support and energy management. Duties include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate field personnel’s technical abilities related to connectivity enabled sites
• Develop training program and materials for all connectivity tools available to technicians
• Develop training programs for other SMART related initiatives around energy as needed
• Maintain training records and evaluate training progress
• Spends at least 20% of time onsite with technicians providing one on one training
• Discover business growth opportunities and provide sales leads to appropriate personnel
• Maintains knowledge of new functionality and features for all controls systems and connectivity enabled tools, communicates new functionality, features and benefits to field
• Acts as in-house commissioning agent for all Automation controls jobs entering warranty, responsible for turnover process
• Tracks all digital inspections sold to ensure technician is trained and has tools needed to perform inspection
• Reviews reported issues on BOS sites with onsite technicians and drives resolution of discovered issues
