Job Details:
ARCHITECTS (multiple)
New York City based architectural studio is currently looking for experienced Architects to handle a range of assignments that vary in scope, size, and daily responsibilities, such as producing detailed construction drawings, keeping team efforts organized, ensuring quality in project delivery, managing budgets and schedules. You will help evolve the firm's process and procedures, mentor staff, and maintain a positive atmosphere of workflow and an energetic team. You are self-confident, self-aware and have developed appropriate tools to manage stress. Experience in retail or commercial mixed-use projects preferable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
Min. 5-10+ years of related experience, managing projects and teams on projects (retail or commercial mixed-use experience strongly desired)
Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form to clients and project teams
Experience with the whole project lifecycle, through post-occupancy
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
Knowledge and interest in sustainable design
Technical understanding of architectural design
