General Ledger Accountant
Allentown, PA
Role:
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting both the controller and assistant controller in the general accounting functions. This will include month end close, journal entries, reporting, trail balances, fixed assets, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist controller with Journal entries, month end close, trail balances and financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations as well as analysis for various GL
- Assist in the preparation, review and updating of budgets
- Work within Excel to create customize reports
- Work cross functionally with different division leaders to understand accounting impacts
- Ad hoc reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of prior accounting experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry
- Oracle or other ERP experience is a plus

This will be a Hybrid situation with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
