Job Details:
My client seeks a Highway Engineer with a PE or tracking towards a PE for a mid-level Highway Design position. Details and responsibilities include:
· Perform roadway design, including plan preparation, specifications, construction estimates and construction schedules.
· Prepare or oversee roadway (geometric, horizontal & vertical alignment) drainage design
· Experience with NJDOT design requirements and plan preparation a plus
· Experience with NJDOT Utility Engineering and ROW Engineering a plus
· Serves as primary contact for client and sub consultants
· Responsible for scope, schedule and budget adherence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
· Experience on NJDOT projects preferred.
· Knowledge in AutoCAD , Civil 3D and /or Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads
· Good communication skills and willing to work in a team environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
