Senior Security Engineer - Splunk
Our client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in Splunk. This candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for developing and deploying cyber security controls across the company as well as presenting to C-level executives and business owners throughout the company to drive action.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Security and IT Risk specifically with developing metrics, policy and procedures and presenting
- Strong knowledge of IT Risk
- Extensive experience with SIEM - Splunk specifically
- Working knowledge of Splunk Best Practices, Workflows and Processes
- Strong understanding of Security Automation Tools such as Demisto or Phantom
- Experience working with business owners to understand their needs and then presenting those needs to the technical teams
- Ability to develop dashboards
- Understanding of data analytics including SQL, SSRS, SQL Reporting Services, Tableau, Power BI
- 3+ years experience with SIEM, Archer and Rapid 7
- Ability to gather detailed business requirements and create BRDs, FRDs and TRDs
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
