Regional Operations Manager - Mechanical Contracting
My client is a is one of the nation's largest and most respected specialty contracting firms. They are seeking a Los Angeles area Operations Manager who comes from an Environmental background with experience in the commercial and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate possesses a cultivated customer base with plans to augment it to the next level.
While closely working with construction managers, estimators, account managers and admin staff, you will engage in all levels of bid proposals while ensuring the project to its successful conclusion.
Desired candidates would have history with medical, pharma, hospital, refrigeration and/or datacenter construction.
Associates or Bachelor's in construction mgmt, finance or business administration preferred.
Experience in insulation (commercial or industrial), coatings, mechanical contracting or similar also preferable.
Duties:
Cultivate sales strategy and explore opportunities for successful contracts
Assign responsibilities for estimation and bid-work to team members
Manage team members to ensure job success, client billings and project scheduling
Handle profit recognition, job control percentage and collection of receivables
Requirements:
Minimum of five (10) years construction or subcontracting experience
Minimum of three (5) years management experience in construction or subcontractor setting
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Remediation, waste clean-up, demolition history strongly preferred.
