Fleet Buyer Program Manager
Top Industrial Gas client looking to expand their team in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and related controls
- Maintains relationship with Fleet Management Company to maximize value for company
- Liaises with Human Resources, Insurance/Risk, Tax, Legal, HSEQ and other corporate departments on fleet policy
- Trains new drivers and manages rollout of program changes with any current drivers
- Managing editor of Fleet SharePoint site
Buyer Responsibilities:
- Builds relationships to understand & support internal stakeholders
- Executes all procurement activities related to Fleet, Small Parcel, and Rental Car
- Identifies & manages initiatives to deliver company savings
- Maintains supplier relationships
- Ensures code of conduct is held up to the standards of the company
Qualified candidates will need the following for this role:
- Bachelors Degree-specifically in Business or a related field
- Previous experience in fleet management, procurement or related area
- Ability to prioritize and be extremely organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to do presentations as well as train new and current employees on changes within the company and industry
- Strong negotiation skills
- Previous experience in project management-able to deliver results when requested
