Job Details:
Mechanical / Assistant Project Manager – Project Engineer
- Obtain quotes from vendors for equipment and materials as specified on blueprints.
- Submit estimates by the specified due date
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with existing customers as well as establishing new clients.
- Order all equipment and materials from vendors for projects, coordinate deliveries and returns to and from job sites, coordinate material production schedule with the Shop/ Production manager.
- Verify counts and prices on shipments.
- Maintain computerized purchase order systems.
- Assist in product and material research for technicians.
- Plan, Schedule, Conduct and track regular safety training and safety inspections.
- Communicate clearly, show recognition and build rapport with employees, co-workers, customers, and vendors.
