Senior IT Project Manager
My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help oversee multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with CTO and business owners to define the project scope and develop the Project Charter
• Drive the development and execution of project plans by working with project teams to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives
• Ensure consistency and adherence to project management processes for all projects
• Manage changes in project scope
• Manage the overall project to deadlines
• Track assigned action items and ensure completion by the appropriate person(s)
• Coordinate with vendors, as needed
• Identify, document and manage risks and issues associated with projects
• Schedule and facilitate meetings for gathering requirements and resolving issues
• Escalate issues when they can not be resolved at the project team level
• Proactively take corrective action when needed
• Lead weekly project status meetings
• Develop and manage an overall project dashboard for executive reporting
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, management, technology)
• Current PMP certification
• 6 years in a project management role leading projects across the full project lifecycle and across multiple departments
• Experience using project management software
• Experience managing remote teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• Problem-solving skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Highly self-motivated, flexible, and able to follow through on assignments
• Respectful of others
• Mortgage company experience preferred
