My client is a highly regarded Electrical Construction company that is well known in the NYC area. They are seeking a Project Executive with a focus on Healthcare. The Healthcare Project Executive who will be responsible to lead and oversee work on several major hospital projects simultaneously with an in-depth involvement of all phases of electrical construction projects. These jobs are rare. Really looking for a rain maker in the hospital/healthcare market! Additional duties include:
• Leadership and direction at the program level (multiple projects, multiple customers)
• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
• Communicates and reinforces the Company Vision and Core Values
• Responsible for Developing Proposals
• Overseeing and participating in the pre-construction, estimating, and design of projects
• Ensuring that projects are being completed on schedule and within budget
Marketing and Sales
• Primary point of contact with clients, managing the client relationships, nurturing emerging business opportunities; analyzing the market, targeting, and securing future projects
• Participate in proposal development and project interviews
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions
Operations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
• Ability to drive construction productivity
• Works with Safety director to ensure jobs have safe working conditions and safe work practices are in place
• Monitors and ensures quality control
• Promotes Teamwork. Trains and mentors project managers.
• Participate in project meetings – Kick-off, Monthly and Close Out
Management
• Develop and monitor budgets and manage the budget to actual cost process
• Responsible for review of monthly financial reports with PM’s and VP
• Reviews and negotiates potential change orders with clients
• Understands multi-trade construction sequencing
• Analyze and resolve issues that arise within project execution
