Global Industrial Engineering Technology Director
Role:
As a Director, this individual will be responsible for leading a large global team of both direct and indirect reports that include a diverse skill set including engineers, scientists, and technicians to help the organization drive technology across their processed gas division. This is a strategic leadership position with visibility and interaction to the Executive team. This person will be driving technologies to increase competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, mentor, train a global team of both direct and indirect reports
Drive competitiveness in the market by introducing new technologies, programs, etc.
Drive change, process improvements, product improvements, productivity programs, etc
Manage bids, projects, the respective safety associated with projects, pilot plants, etc.
Direct implementation of new technologies
Direct risk associated mechanical design, engineering, as well as standards
Manager technology portfolio; including future products, future markets, and future business strategies
Work cross functionally with Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Business Leaders, Operations, etc.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree is required. Ph. D is a huge plus
10+ year of progressive experience. Prior management of a large global team is required
Prior patents, publications, experience with intellectual assets, etc. is highly preferred
Prior experience within the process gas, energy, Engineering Procurement & Construction or Oil & Gas industry
Ability to travel as required
