Manager of Software Development
Growing industry leader is expanding its development teams. Qualified candidate will have a 60 / 40 mix of technical vs mentoring skills.
- Building and Managing a software development team of 8-10 members
- Owning the technical roadmap for core technology products
- Driving a customer-centric, highly personalized approach
- Performing 1:1 meetings and management duties associated with the team
- Mentoring junior developers in modern software engineering best practices and technologies

Ideally seeking:
- Experience in software development using multiple languages/frameworks such as Java, Spring, Javascript, React.js, Typescript and Node.js
- Experience leading or managing software development teams.
- Experience in building cloud-native applications with modern technologies such as AWS/Cloud Computing, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong background in Agile software practices including Test-Driven Development and CI/CD
- Leadership characteristics to mentor other software engineers
