Large commercial real estate company is seeking the following:
Responsibilities:
You will be overseeing all lines of insurance for the company, manage claims; manage the relationship with all brokers, making recommendations to improve overall risk and exposure.
- Work with internal property management, accounting and legal to structure programs.
- Management of claims in terms of resolution, payments, tracking and reporting.
- Build internal safety programs for risk avoidance
- Establish monthly, quarterly and annual reports focused on budgets, allocation, metrics, trends and X dates.
- Will act as the internal risk manager in order to educate, advise internal employees to mitigate risk
- Work with all carriers and brokers and maintain the relationship
- Manage the issuance of Certs of Insurance with brokers and to insure they meet or exceed the needed coverage
- Assists in the collection, analysis and data input of exposure and policy data for all lines of insurance carried by the Company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required..
- Minimum of 3 years in risk management or commercial lines account management in an independent agency or broker
- Prefer minimum of 5 years in commercial real estate or publicly-traded company
