Assistant Financial Controller
Philadelphia, PA
Role:
As an Assistant Financial Controller, you'll be reporting to leadership and fully responsible for managing a small team of accounting professionals as well as the day to day accounting functions for this U.S. subsidiary. This would include month end close, preparing financial statements, consolidations, overseeing payroll, payable and receivables as well as cash flow analysis, modeling, budgeting, trend analysis, sales analysis, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2 direct reports and the day to day accounting functions
- Manage policies, procedures, and controls
- Oversee accounting transactions, payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, etc.
- Perform and manage the month end close, consolidations, and reporting
- Perform trend analysis, modeling, sales analysis, variance analysis, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- 2+ years of prior management
- Prior experience with a ERP system
