My client a global leader is looking for a Senior Accounting Systems Analyst Project Manager with Strong SQL. You will be responsible for the overall technology needs of the Accounting function on a day-to-day basis though the support of the ERP and other systems. They will work directly with all levels of the Finance department, sub-contractors and Business Systems Team as a liaison. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will provide technical expertise related to various applications including ERP suite applications and SQL. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be the Finance department liaison to develop and implement new systems or enhance existing systems to resolve problems or improve accounting/financial processes and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in tandem with the Finance department to support the day to day procedures and other related applications
• Develop new, and/or modify existing, customizations, conversions and interfaces as the Finance department requires
• Troubleshoot system and process issues as reported by the Finance team
• Lead in the development and implementation of new systems or enhance existing systems to resolve issues
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as requested using reporting
• Improve accounting/financial processes and internal controls for IT related items
• Manage and maintain test environments
• Establish and maintain strong and consistent business partnerships across multiple business lines
About the candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience with SQL required
• Accounting/Finance experience required
• Architectural knowledge, ability to liaise efficiently with solution designers and application architecture to translate them effectively to the application system
• ERP implementation/optimization experience strongly preferred
• Ability to solve problems in a timely, structured manner with strong analytical approach
• Strong ability/confidence to determine and lead strategic change
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and can work well under pressure
