My client is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm located in southern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. The primary areas of practice include water and wastewater engineering, municipal consultations, construction administration, building engineering, bridge inspection and design, and MEP. The firm was founded in 1978 and operates two offices in New Windsor, NY and Milford PA.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Level Municipal/Civil Engineer to support our municipal projects in our New Windsor, New York location. Job responsibilities include technical design and project management for public works infrastructure projects. Applicants shall have experience in the preparation of technical design reports, process design experience in water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management design, roadway design, erosion and sedimentation control plans, and development of construction detailing and specifications.
Qualifications for this position include a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, 5+ years of related technical experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer (NY) is a plus. Candidates shall be proficient in technical writing, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with clients and regulatory bodies.
