Continuous Improvement Engineer
Permanent position: Continuous Improvement Engineer located in Vineland, NJ. We are a consumer manufacturer. This position is responsible to support the research, evaluation, and implementation of improvements to the manufacturing processes. To be considered - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with at least two (2) years of experience making lean/six sigma improvements within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement Engineer
•Support the research, evaluation, and implementation of improvements to the manufacturing processes
•Providing vision and support for implementation of 5S and facilitating tactical Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts
•Evaluates, analyzes and makes recommendations on 5s (organizational activities) and lean projects
•Coordinates Kaizen events with Production, Quality and manufacturing Engineering
•Use tools to build equipment necessary for 5S activities
•Create visual aids, work instructions, logs and forms as needed
Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Engineer
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
•Must have continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
•Green or Black belt is required
•Experience implementing 5S and Lean practices into manufacturing
•CAD experience a plus
