Job Details:
Seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Manager with a background in Kitchen Construction Materials such as cabinets, counter tops, etc.
Job Duties & Requirements:
- 5+ years purchasing experience for kitchen supplies such as cabinets, counter tops, etc. (Required)
- Experience working with purchasing software
- Manage the purchasing and distribution of raw materials
- Purchase supplies
- Support manufacturing
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Qualify vendors
- Maintain budgets
- Support Lean Manufacturing
- Support and oversee other employees in the purchasing department
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems used for purchasing
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- People management experience
