Job Details:
The Installation Director is a very critical position for our company. The qualified candidate will deal with situations that could only be handled by individuals with a strong background in communication, leadership, construction, project management and client relationships. Our customers have very high expectations, so attention to detail and high quality work is a must.
Primary job duties include:
- Manage a diverse team of Project Managers – Having a strong personality will play a key role here.
- Financial planning, budgeting and resource allocation
- Attending Project Meetings for multiple sites (usually 30 to 50 individuals present)
- Process Oriented – Creating efficiencies through sub buy-outs, installation certification program, error reduction and quality improvements in installation.
- Customer communication – Excellent language skills are required to communicate or correspond to customer letters, change orders and installation status etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Management
- 5+ years experience overseeing multi-family construction projects
- Managing construction installation projects
- Experience working with and overseeing subcontractors, project managers and other members of the construction team
- Experience with high-end construction projects
- Ability to interpret and change construction drawings
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience with multi-million dollar projects
- Ability to travel to construction sites as needed
