Job Details:
Seeking an experienced business development professional with a background in scientific and chemical research.
Job Duties:
- Meeting with clients and potential clients to sell and promote company brand & services
- Source and prospect new business
- Travel as needed to meet perspective clients
- Create proposals and estimates
- Interact with scientific/lab team to relay client needs
- Negotiate and finalize contracts
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in business development/sales for a scientific research firm
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in some sort of scientific discipline
- Experience with chemicals, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc.
- Experience working in a research lab setting
- Proven track record generating new business
