Job Details:
A local Electrical Contractor that specializes in Utility construction is in need of a director of safety and quality. This is a corporate position and will require accountability in the following areas:
- Leadership, Management, Accountability
- Safety & Quality Management
- Incident Management
- Risk and Claim Management
- Process Improvement Management
- S&Q / Reg Compliance
- OSHA 10, 30, 500 training as well as OSHA T&D training
- Knowledge of general construction practices
- Knowledge of OSHA 1910 standards, specific 1910.269 understanding is a plus
- Knowledge of additional administrative agencies regulations (MSHA, MOSHA, individual utilities, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera a plus
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code and NFPA 70E
- Knowledge of Quality standards (ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of quality principles such as Lean SixSigma
