Job Details:
Business Analyst Electrical Engineer
This position assists project leaders by scoping the proposed solution leading to accurate cost and time estimates. The incumbent facilitates requirements gathering, structures documentation and presents findings. The position will conduct gap analysis and write / maintain functional specifications for new or modified business processes and consult and assist the technical team during design.In addition the position will create and assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.
• Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, processes, and company needs
• Gather business needs
• Run and facilitate workshops with business users
• Prepare and deliver presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide analysis, definition, and direction to software development activities
• Lead system enhancements initiatives by designing and formulating solutions. Act as the liaison between the business and the technical team members through the solution delivery process.
• Assist project leaders by scoping the proposed solution leading to accurate cost and time estimates
• Assist users in solving both functional and system issues within agreed-to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide end-user instruction, training and support to resolve application issues.
• Assist in designing and formulating solutions.
• Act as the liaison between the business and the technical team members through the solution delivery process.
Job Requirements:
• Up to 3 years of relevant prior experience beyond formal education.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems or similar
• 1 – 2 years working as an IT Functional/Business Analyst
• Experience with Accounting concepts and practices preferred
• Experience in documenting complex business requirements, functional specifications and test scenarios
• Systems development life cycle (SDLC) experience preferred
