Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our team of engineers in equipment and capital project improvements, upgrades and new design.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and run manufacturing equipment
- Oversee technicians
- Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
- Make improvements and upgrades to existing equipment
- Assemble and test mechanical equipment
- Order parts needed for equipment
- Oversee equipment safety
- Design new equipment
- Maintain budgets
- Schedule technicians
- Train and oversee new staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years experience working with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Conveyor experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Management experience
- Experience with capital equipment designs and upgrades in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Experience with various design software
- Ability to travel on occasion
- Experience with client and customer interaction
- Experience working in pharmaceutical and medical device settings
