Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Role:
A large global manufacturing organization is looking to add a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to their expanding team. As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for working with the controller to help lead the financial reporting functions for the organization including the financial statement audits, assisting with month end close, trial balances, lease accounting, quarterly financial reporting packages, presentations for the board, as well as other special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Controller with Financial Statement audits, financial reporting packages, month end close, etc.
- Prepare employee benefit plan audits, trail balances, quarterly financial reporting packages, etc.
- Perform lease accounting to ensure compliance with new accounting standards
- Collaborating closely with program leads to confirm accurate coding of expenses and revenue
- Maintaining balance sheet schedules including fixed assets and intercompany payables/receivables
- Present to the board of directors
- Special projects as needed
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- CPA is required
- 4+ years of financial reporting experience. Public Accounting with SEC Clients and/or Corporate financial reporting experience is preferred
