Electrical Commissioning Professional
Role:
The position will carry out activities related to electrical commissioning construction for industrial plants as well as contract administration including environmental health and safety, being the subject matter expert between construction and contractors as well as the commissioning team, and also investigating / troubleshooting any failures or issues along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Safety for startup and new projects at the plant
- Make sure KPI's are met
- Ensure electrical PPE are available on site
- Act as the subject matter expert for construction, contractors, and commissioning team; build relationships
- Document all commissioning actives, testing, sourced equipment, etc.
- Supervise all staff to ensure goals are met, safety is the upmost priority, and policies / procedures are properly followed
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot any issues, problems, or failures in order to get a resolution
- Perform root cause analysis on any failures
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical construction / commissioning for a large industrial manufacturing organization
- Experience with single line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control schematics, construction drawings, and any other electrical technical documentation.
- The ability to work independently or within a team as well as the ability to communicate to all levels of employees
- The ability to travel up to 70%
