Front End Software Development Lead - Angular / Big Data - FINTECH
Global software company is seeking to hire a Front End Software Technical Development Lead. This is a globally connected role in a fast paced, software engineering environment. The qualified candidate will be hands on but will not be required to write code. Must be a self started and take ownership of a growing group. You also must have a build and not buy mindset. Problem solving skills are essential! Experience with the following background is desired:
Expert level programming knowledge in Javascript (ES6).
Knowledge of best practices & patterns for large scale applications in javascript. Desired experience in AngularJS 1.5+.
Desire and proven ability to build awesome web applications. Prior experience overhauling user experience and UI technology is a plus.
Strong foundational knowledge of component architecture, with applied experience in AngularJS (including 2.0) or ReactJS/Redux.
Web technologies: HTML(5), CSS(3), BootStrap/Foundation,
Build systems for SPA - webpack, ES6 transpilers, CSS frameworks
Strong Agile software development and leadership; continuous integration or even more advanced continuous delivery concepts including test automation strategies a plus
A professional senior technical role such as technical lead, architect, or other hands on leadership role
Nice to have:
Other modern js frameworks (e.g. React, ember, backbone etc). Mobile development, particular in React Native, is a plus
Project development using Angular 2.0 and TypeScript
Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology, functional programming style
Functional/Technical Expertise
Learning Abilities/Tech Savvy
Communication
Team Player
