Job Details:
My client is a building automation and energy management company that seeks an Electrical Installer. You must have experience installing Tridium and Trane controls is preferred, but not necessary. You must have experience installing low voltage wiring and standard 110/120 volt wiring.
You will be involved in the Building Automation installation process and incorporate these job duties:
• Install, connect, and adjust controllers, components, and devices
• Layout and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams
• Reading wiring and technical diagrams
• Installing and maintaining wiring systems
• Knowledge of local electrical codes
• Skill in the care and use of standard tools, equipment and testing instruments of the electrical trade.
• Skill in the diagnosis of electrical malfunctions.
• Identifying electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or components using hand and power tools
• Work independently and be able to coordinate job installation and completion with onsite personnel
• Report discrepancies between engineered drawings and equipment on site
• Knowledgeable of industry safety requirements
