SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Mid-sized New York City commercial construction general contractor has a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join and potentially manage our Estimating Department.
Responsibilities include:
Generating estimating deliverables,
Ability to develop accurate conceptual cost models,
Understanding construction methods, productivity, equipment, systems and materials,
Keep track of current material & labor pricing including escalation,
Maintain relationships with subcontractors & material vendors,
Make meaningful value engineering contributions,
Ability to reconcile estimates with other consultants & design team,
Generating sound documentation for scope of work assumed in estimates,
Maintaining a well organized approach & disciplined work ethic.
