Senior Accountant
70-80K and Bonus

Role:
In this role, you will collaborate on project teams responsible for complex business transactions and help to ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls and company policies and procedures. Through research, standardization and promoting awareness among your global business partners, you will assist in driving best practices. You will work closely with the Consolidations Accounting and Technical Accounting teams, as well as with external auditors, and will partner with colleagues across functions to build relationships and facilitate accounting involvement in relevant processes and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting support and guidance on complex business transactions such as revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, consolidation accounting, debt, foreign currency, stock-based compensation, factoring, software development and other matters
- Assess impact of new and emerging accounting pronouncements and assist in operationalizing related accounting entries
- Communicate with technical accounting to give updates by delivering global technical accounting training programs cross functionally
- Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly review and year-end audit
- Responsible for the monthly consolidation of company worldwide results and the preparation and distribution of the monthly worldwide consolidated financial reporting package.
- Assist SEC department in reviewing technical disclosures for financial reporting team
- Assist the departement with divsestiture accounting, IPO readiness, acquisitions, and non-routine transactions
- Lead or participate in special projects as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA or progress towards a CPA is preferred
- 3+ years of finance and accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience is preferred
- Prior experience with a large ERP reporting system is also a plus
