Senior Tax Associate / Tax Manager – Corporate Tax
Houston, Texas
A growing advisory firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Manager to join its tax team, supporting large corporate clients and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal corporate tax returns (Form 1120) for large corporations ($500M+ in revenue)
- Support tax compliance and reporting processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with tax provisions (ASC 740) and related analyses
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices
Qualifications:
- Strong corporate federal tax compliance experience (Form 1120 required)
- Experience working with public company clients is a plus
- Exposure to ASC 740 provisions preferred
- Partnership tax experience (Form 1065) preferred
- CPA preferred (required if not coming from a Big 4 background)
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred
