Storage Engineer
Job Summary
The Storage Engineer will be responsible for design, managing and monitoring the current storage environment, providing application support and backup, participating in capacity planning, evaluating present and future-state capacity, and planning and executing new installs/deployments. The desired candidate will understand how to think critically, and address the following: Alert and resolve any performance issues and communicate them accordingly participate in root cause analysis for incidents work with key stakeholders to determine and optimize storage requirements forecast storage growth drive the design of processes and procedures for SAN solutions
Responsibilities and Duties
3-10 years expertise in SAN deployment and management in an Enterprise Infrastructure· Extensive Track record implementing and managing large complex Enterprise Storage Solution· Expert level knowledge and experience with any two of the following Storage Solutions.
- Manage all Storage Systems
- Manage the different SANs
- Manage the Backup Systems
- Knowledge of OS troubleshooting
Qualifications and Skills
-NetApp CDOT/CMode in a cross platform environment, and who also have a strong background in NAS
- Pure Storage
- EMC
