Job Details:
Automation Engineer:
- Experience in full system development life cycle, project management, and leading teams in a pharma, biotech, food and beverage manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in designing process automation systems using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and process visualization in both HMI and SCADA applications and commercial system integration.
- Design and programmed controls systems and products used for environmental monitoring in a sterile manufacturing area. Products based on PLC’s and microcontrollers
- Generate product documentation covering engineering design, production procedures, end-user procedures, and project specific documentation (drawings, qualification and validation protocols).
- Project management including planning, or executing every aspect from bidding process through commissioning, validation and maintenance.
- Support capital projects for IT, facilities and manufacturing automation projects.
- Responsible for developing and troubleshooting PLC based process control systems.
- Assist with the design of control systems, generation of submittal package, and project support documentation.
- Pharma, biotech, food & beverage manufacturing background preferred.
- Some travel could be required in the PA, NJ area.
